Beary Christmas - 3 Card projects

Over the next few blog posts, I'm going to share the projects we made at the Christmas Extravaganza workshop in Buscot.  First up is the Beary Christmas suite - we made 3 cards using this fun and stylish suite, I hope you like them!

This first card uses pretty much everything in the suite!  The background is a balmy blue card base with basic white layer and I've added a few stamped snowflakes to the bottom in balmy blue (pure then stamped off for the lighter ones) and then some of the patterned paper from the suite which I've also used to punch (yes you heard me right, punch!!!) the polar bear from and I've mounted this on a deckled circle die cut shape - simple but the multiple layers give depth to the card which I love!

For both the second and third cards, I've used the snowflake embossing folder for the backgrounds - this is a beautiful embossing folder and you can use it either way up as you can see from my cards!!  Again for the card above, I've used a combination of stamped images and patterned paper and the deckled circles and below I've just used the stamped and then punched polar bear.
