Today's Hues of Happiness project is also our bonus project from this month's Monthly Card Club online. I saw this idea on another demo's site (Pootles aka Sam Donald) and thought it would be perfect for this suite.
Using a slimline envelope, I have created a cute little treat bag and decorated with the Hues of Happiness papers and ribbon. Really quick and easy of you are wanting to make a quick gift bag for a bar of chocolate, some candles or jewellery as all will fit inside and I am sure you could also replicate this with other size envelopes too.
Starting with the envelope flat you score a 2cm border on all sides apart from the opening edge. Crease all the scores using a bone folder. Open the envelope a little as if you were putting a card inside and you will then be able to "square" the folds into a gusseted bag with 2 small triangles at the base. Glue the triangles up the sides of the base of the bag as shown in the pictures - decorate to your taste!
